Eleider Alvarez is a great fighter and is the only Alvarez with a legit KO over Kovalev.

He is still a great fighter he tried and lost no big deal lets see what he does now, start talking nails in coffins when he is doing a Roy Jones racking up loss after loss fighting cans.

A nobody that's way more than that, do you understand size/skill in boxing, seems to me you have no idea all you saw was 2 guys fight.

Yeah boxing fan culture is toxic when a guy loses

guys aren’t expected to bounce back unlike mma

I agree completely I'm just giving the canelo fans **** for all the **** they talked about my fighters all these years. He gets nothing but my respect for facing Bivol.

Canelo gets credit for a very solid resume and all he’s brought to the sport. Facing Bivol in no way deserves criticism.

It just feels awkward to make an appreciation thread after a fighter loses to a 5-1 underdog.

It also feel awkward when he hasn’t “cleaned out” a division yet.

Once he fights and beats Benavidez, Charlo and Andrade, he will clean out 160 and 168.

Then an appreciation thread would feel more warranted.

                JMO.

Do you really think he actually beats Benavidez, Charlo, Andrade, especially after last night?

I think Bivol exposed once again that if you're defensively competent, Canelo's punches are very easy to avoid because he swings for the home run on every shot. His ability to mix up the speed of his punches is very poor, almost embarrassingly poor for a p4p fighter. Second, fighters who can constantly pump a jab in canelo's face will always frustrate canelo because he can't lull you to sleep with his slow pace. And finally, Bivol proved again that when you know how to use your feet, canelo gasses very quickly from swinging and missing all the time and drowns when he gets to deep waters.

JMO but I don't see how Canelo beats Andrade and Charlo. Maybe Benavidez but I do believe Andrade and Charlo's jabs, defense, activity and footwork will be enough to take a decision from Canelo.

Yep I’m not a fan per se

but the man has done a lot for boxing

                    his Events are attention grabbing

only criticism is how far judges lean towards him
