I have been saying for ages that David doesn't just beat Canelo but stops him. Everyone is impressed with Bivol, but lets not forget that Benavidez is bigger, faster, stronger and much more aggressive. Bivol had a tired Canelo on ropes and worked him a little bit on a few occasions but mostly held back and maintained his disciplined style. Now imagine what Benavidez would have done if he smelt blood vs a tired Canelo?. He would have dismantled him and stopped him brutally. Even less likely this fight happens now imo. Canelo prob just retires next year.
