He wasn't treated very well, in addition to understandably Canelo getting the A side of the promotion.
Some of Canelo's fans booed him, but Bivol seems like the nicest guy. And the A side performance in the ring was from Bivol, not Canelo. Any rematch, Bivol would get some of the perks.
He's the man who beat the man, so he's the new king of boxing in a way.
He should move up one weight class and fight Usyk at Cruiserweight. I mean he just fought a smaller guy.
Is that how it works lol? Huge credit to Canelo but no one forced him to fight at light heavyweight. Canelo has fought multiple guys as big or bigger than Bivol and I didn't hear anyone whining about it before. Canelo weighed just as much as Bivol at the weigh in. Bivol is 6'. Chavez Jr is 6'1", Rocky Fielding is 6'1", Danny Jacobs is 6', Kovalev is 6', Callum Smith is 6'3", Avni Yildirim is 6' and Caleb Plant is 6'1". All of a sudden now it's an excuse?
Bivol has been calling for the fight at 168 for years, a weight he said he could easily make. I'd actually like to see the rematch happen at that weight and he can take all of Canelo's belts. What will the excuse be then?

Reason: spelling
Within 2 years the woke and cancel culture mobb has ruined society. If bivol walked into ring with lipstick a dress and high heels with a rainbow flag he would have been viewed as a hero. So let me get this straight u can't use anything Russian but the judges can blantantly cheat in clear sight with rigged and fixed scorecards. Oh the hypocrisy of this world has reached epic levels.
Yeah, that was very low from the WBA and organizers (I don't know who was really responsible for it) a better message would've been to announce him as from where he is and then announce something to help the victims of the war in ukraine or a minute of silence for the dead or something like that.
