How did Bivol win last night

He missed almost 550 punches, Canelo only missed about 400 punches.

I've seen Canelo fans say that was a big part of how you score fights?

Canelo robbed, no surprise. Had to expect the Russian to get all the close rounds.

I understand this is a troll thread.

It's always funny when someone claims some fighter lost because "he missed a lot". So what? if you land more it doesn't matter if you also missed more. What you land is that matters.

Canelo also catched the most punches with his face.

It's incredible that some people still don't get that. I've been so disappointed that on a boxing site, so many people have no idea how to rate fighters or score fights. Or if they have an idea, they don't care to do it honestly.

Canelo's punches to Bivol's arms should count more than Bivol's punches to Canelo's face because Canelo hits harder imo

They are both intertwined in winning, the idea is hit and not be hit. the extremes are not reality the blending makes all the difference in the world.

Gonna let you in on a little tip - you don't score points for not getting hit. You just aren't allowing the other guy to score points on those shots that miss.

Also, jabs don't count. Unless Canelo is the jabber, then they do. And the man walking forward has to win. Unless canelo fights off the back foot.

also punches to the body that are blocked count more than power punches to the head.
