Your guy lost man, clearly. It happens. I guess when it's this obvious even you have to admit that your guy lost. Truth hurts I'm afraid.

A better way to handle things would be to just score fights how you see them, even when they go against your guy.

Why? Because then when your guy officially loses eventually, you don't have such a crushing moment in your psyche like so many Canelo fans are dealing with now.

It's because the truth is crippling. They know it but can't admit it. Let's start with the judging. That they scored it 7-5 for Bivol was a travesty. And completely makes Canelo's wins over GGG, Lara, Trout more questionable. And the draw vs. Floyd. It's just proof that they're biased for canelo.

At 154, the best, according to The Ring and TBRB, when Canelo was there…were Mayweather, Trout, Lara and Cotto. Okay Canelo fought 3 of those 4.

At 160, when Canelo first went up there, the best were GGG, Cotto and Jacobs. Canelo fought all 3, GGG twice.

At 168, The Ring champion there was Callum Smith. Now at this point, I am going around saying I think Canelo is biting off more than he could chew. I said I think Callum Smith might win. Okay, Canelo somehow won, I was wrong.

From THAT^ point on, Canelo was overachieving. He was already doing a lot. Fighting Bivol, Kovalev, Plant, Saunders, is already doing way more than he has to do in order to secure a HOF career. Way more. Unnecessary. Attempting to beat Bivol is Canelo trying to be more than just a Hall of Famer. The guy clearly wants to be listed with the best, the Ali’s, SRR’s, Duran, SRL, Chavez, etc. Because Arturo Gatti, Barry McGuigan and Naseem Hamed are hall of famers. That’s not saying much. The guy wants to be a legend of his time. Even if Canelo forego’s the Bivol rematch and goes down to 168 and cleans it out, he would still being doing more than he has to.

It’s too bad that his critics are so loud and that not every boxing fan gives him credit for the risks he takes. But that’s boxing and that is why boxing is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sports. Its fans are extremely unreasonable and don’t even understand what is risk and what is taking it easy.
        - - Not bad, Kevvy.

99% of fight fans can't credibly score a fight or evaluate a career which is the reason Boxing uses that demographic for those functions so they can prop each other up like drunks on the street.

I don't know how you can ignore the obvious at this point. Trout fight, they announce the open scorecards and those idiot judges had Canelo way up, so Trout has to change his style and gets dropped.

That ridiculous 6-6- scorecard vs. Floyd.

That ridiculous 9-3 scorecard vs. Lara.

That ridiculous 9-3 scorecard vs. GGG

3 ridiculous 7-5 scorecards last night

You have to be blind or ****** not to see it

when you lose to such big underdogs the narrative shouldn’t be about taking risks.

Maybe it’s just me, but 5-1 and 7-1 favorites are “risks” only because the previous opponents were 12-1 and 15-1 underdogs.

A 50/50 or 55/45 fight is more of a “risk” imo.

Canelo and Loma kinda folded. It happens. Maybe they were overconfident.

They deserve credit for fighting top opponents for sure. Let’s not act like there isn’t some easy ones sprinkled in.

right like a Spence/Crawford fight. which is a 50/50 fight

Spence losing to Crawford is more of a risk than him going up in weight losing to Canelo
