Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez: Maybe I Lost 4 Or 5 Rounds To Bivol, But I Definitely Didn't Lose The Fight

Just accept the loss. You fought an elite fighter who is bigger, stronger, and more skilled. If you wanted to lose a fight, this was the one to lose. No shame at all but enough with this "i didn't lose" garbage

Alvarez didn't win enough for a draw let alone a victory

          Oh dear

You could tell by his body language in the ring that he knew he wasn’t winning the fight.

          Just own it.

Sorry Saul. You clearly lost 8 maybe even 9 rounds.

Well, even if Spanish is not my mother tongue, I did understand that in his post-fight interview Canelo said something around the lines of "I thought I had done enough, but no excuses, this time I had to lose and he won". So it's not an actual change of mind.

This is what years of getting gift decisions does to a fighter

God bless him, a gifted fighter Canelo. But Bivol deserved the decision.
