A lot of you have some serious soul searching to do. You bullied us, hated on us, called us all sorts of awful names when we simply pointed out the truth all these years about Caelo Alvarez. Even though we spoke all acts about canelo, when those facts were uncomfortable, you could't take it. Because neutrall honest boxing fans always saw this coming. We gave Canelo credit he deserved for taking on a tough challenge of Bivol. Yes we criticized his weak opposition at 168 and ducking Andrade and Charlo, but we knew those guys at 168 were tailor made for him. We knew Bivol wasn't tailor made which made this fight interesting.
1) We said the 168 division was weak as **** and that fighters like Beterbiev, Bivol, Andrade, Charlo were the real challenge . This was 100% true. If you don't believe me, look at how easy the Smith, Plant, BJS fights were for canelo and look how bad canelo got his ass whooped vs Bivol. If Bivol is an A level fighter, than that makes Plant/Smith/Saunders C level fighters.
2) We said that skilled fighters with great jabs and defense will always be trouble for canelo and that he has strategically avoided these guys for years. Why do you think post Lara, the one belt at 154 that canelo went for was LIAM SMITH. Not Andrade or either of the Charlos.
3) Canelo has not improved one bit. Still the same stiff flat footed fighter who looks completely lost against a skilled boxer. Reynoso has been completely embarrassed as a trainer twice in 2 weeks now. Maybe he needs to give his fighters secret beef again.
4) The judges are clearly in Canelo's pocket. 7-5, all 3 scorecards? What a ****ing joke. At best Canelo won 3 rounds. This completely calls in question the Lara, Trout, and GGG fights. With fair judging I guarantee you he probably would have lost at least 2 or 3 of those.
5) Terence Crawford is the p4p king. Not Canelo. It's not even close. Bud has never even been in a close fight. Canelo got his ass whooped 3 times and was in 3 other fights that he could have lost. And many times he was getting outboxed until he ladder a late KO. Stop the bull**** about his resume, last nights fight proved how truly weak all the fighters at 168 were.
