Might be a good thing Canelo lost...

...for fans who can't stomach seeing fighters who won't fight each other
just waiting for their turn at the Alvarez sweepstakes.

Would they still be waiting for the Canelo offer at this point? Who knows?

Like I've said before, I have little interest in the heavier divisions.
I watch a glimpse of them, but I do have views which ones stand out.
It's not a cherrypick fight for the Ginger kid, but I preferred it, instead of worthless Charlo.

Let's just hope these guys waiting on Canelo will start fighting each other now.
Unfortunately, it's not going to happen any time soon because they all have their respective fights
against low-level opposition as usual already scheduled. Meaning, it might take another year
to see them back after their fights. I know, it's tons of waiting in this sport. We're not getting any younger.

Benavidez would fight anyone but I'm willing to bet the rest will continue to wait for canelo.

Truth be told I would be happy if Canelo went down to 168 and beat Benavidez. Nobody talked more **** about Bivol leading up to the Canelo fight than Benavidez. Claimed that he'd sparred Bivol millions of times, was a complete bum, and that Canelo was obviously ducking him.

Did anyone watch the boxing voice live coverage of the fight? They had Benavidez there and he just kept talking all this **** about what a cherry pick was, about how he would do so much better than Bivol, and then he just shut up.
