he tried to go to the body from the first 30 seconds of the fight. bivol either backed away out of range or blocked them with his elbows


bivol actually gave canelo a tip post fight, said he was throwing every single punch hard and got winded mid fight. i dont think it makes a difference with bivol blocking nearly everything.

canelo's natural power isnt that big, he just learned to be able to throw at full power with speed, he was doing this to break down much bigger guys than himself. this isnt like beterbiev where is power is effortless

Canelo has always had poor stamina if he can’t fight his own pace

Bivol is too smart for him. He had Canelo working physically harder than he likes and his brain working overtime.

i can’t see how that will change. I said on here before the fight that Bivol’s in and out movement is going to get Canelo badly outworked. He turned the tables on Canelo because Canelo is the one usually causing his opponents fatigue with pressure.

Canelo can barely put a dent in Bivol, he can’t outwork him, can’t outmove him. Couldn’t even beat him in the exchanges.

he was resorting to single shots because he was outgunned in every department. As I said before the fight here, good luck trying to beat Bivol throwing single punches, not happening.
