Canelo always picks fighters that show vulnerabilities in recent fights. In Bivol's case, his mediocre display against Richards.

But he did not realise that Bivol fights to the level of his opposition. This ain't pillow-fisted, 8 round gas tank Plant.

Was Qawi too short to compete at cruiserweight? How about 6' fat Andy beating AJ?

Canelo's power is mediocre at 175 and he has always struggled against good jabbers with footwork. This is the core of the issue.

No it wasn't pillow fisted Plant this was a full-blown Light Heavy that made him look like a fat old man at 175, Canelo tried to achieve something and came up short, the size advantage behind tight boxing was just to much, Bivol is nothing special just a top-level 175 pounder, Canelo doesn't belong there, maybe Bivol could do the same thing and take Canelos place against Ursk lets see how that goes.

All credit to Bivol he boxed out the win easy, Canelo failed so what he tried to win with major handicaps and couldn't pull it off no shame in that.

Bivol is a very small LHW compared to Beterbiev, Smith Jr, Richards, etc.

He rehydrated to 183 lbs against Canelo, so his size advantange was minimal. The fight could have occurred at SMW. The reality is that Bivol is the far superior technical boxer.

Canelo, like AJ, is a hypejob who lives off his good looks and overrated power.

Unlike Canelo, Richards and other 175 contenders actually have physical dispositions to trouble Bivol more.

As you said, Bivol is a not a big 175 guy. every true 175 guy can trouble him more than Canelo did.
