Amir Khan is the defining opponent of his career. Brook had been chasing that guy since they were teenagers on the GB squad 20 years ago. That victory was a massive high for Kell Brook.

I hope so. Rumour has it he p***ed a lot of his money up the wall prior to the Khan fight but he reportedly earned £3m for the Khan fight and if you’re savvy enough you can make that money last for life.

It was more of a box ticked, as the time the fight happened, Khan was a walking punchbag. Brook is still near his best, Khan is completely done, and even if Khan fought someone like Marku, he'd get knocked out. Beating Khan now, is not much of a win. Nash out.

I was hoping to see a Golovkin rematch. Golovkin has faded somewhat...Kell seems to have remained on the same plateau. That might have been a more even match up than the first one at this point.

Eubank jr. and Conor Benn are crying now.

Smart decision for Brook. I believe he made enough money, so there is no need to keep on fighting these younger guys.

Surprising. He was in position to have one more big money fight to help fund his life after retirement.

True. If he was paid correctly he would have taken the belt from Jessie Vargas. When Spence came to the UK, he would have been fully healthy. Think he takes a decision in a fight and a 3 belt holder. Then we see Crawford go to the UK for undisputed. That's how 147 should have played out vs 6 years of PBC BS.

worst decision in boxing history easily. Broke his skull and gave him ptsd

I'm in agreement with what Nash Out says in Athens above post. He beat Khan but its lackluster considering Khan isnt in the least a dangerous fight for anybody now. His name doesnt even count on a resume anymore. I wouldve liked to see Brook against a DSG or even Benn for one last hurrah so to speak and the Brook that fought Khan may could beat those 2 if he didnt get hit too much.

Good luck to him. Finally had the fight he wanted all these years and left the sorry after getting paid. Was hoping to see him smash Benn but now someone else will have to do it
