No, the opponent simply shouldn't take the fight and just not sign the contract.
Simple as that. If both fighters make weight on the agreed terms, no excuses.
The issue in the Boxing community is they treat fighters as if they are babies or something, LOL

big props to Canelo. I think he loses and may get hurt.
My cousin Raul(raw) is/was a champ restyled. He’d eat ice cubes. But come fight time he got big

if you make weight and then drink water and eat.

canelo a side, he dictates terms, u either take them or leave it, more cash for u, its not the opponents fault for signing the contract, its nelos fault for having the hydration clause in it in the first place, thats abuse of power, abuse of position, bullying if u like

It is not even a debate that he was a massive weight bully at 154, even 160. But not at 168 and 175.

            Well said man.
This is definitely a great competitive opponent in Bivol.
I actually got Canelo winning but would not be surprised at all if Bivol wins.
I think Canelo may KO Bivol via body shots

That is exactly why as of late, Canelo's venture at 168 and taking this Bivol fight is quite impresive.
Regardless of obsessive critics out there who keep bringing up Canelo's past in which I understand to a degree because it will always follow him but, Canelo has definitely gained a lot more of my respect as of late.

I don't think his venture at 168 is that impressive but the Bivol fight is very impressive. Even more if he goes for undisputed against Beterbiev.

On 168, I will give him credit for fighting 3 very solid opponents in a year. Fighters need to be more active.

To me, Dimitry Bivol is on a different level from Callum Smith, BJS, Plant.

And Beterbiev is a different level too, but a vey different style. Styles make fights and I really don't know who wins Bivol vs. Beterbiev. Or Canelo.
