People act like they know what's up in Ukraine but never been there, never lived there, never saw the truth. "It's Ukrainian ****s." or "It's a fake war." Nonsense. Utter and total foolishness. First, there's a bunch of Russian trolls all over the web, including here, and it's always the same everywhere they post. The rest are more than ignorant, because they don't even recognize their own ignorance, and they're stating things as if they know.
Then there's the America haters. "Oh America invades everywhere and kills everybody in the world." Don't be dumb. It's hard to have a cohesive foreign policy when we change presidents every few or several years. Plus, foreign policy isn't a science; it's an art, even if leaders have the purest of intentions. We stayed out of WW2 until we were bombed, and if we had gotten involved sooner, maybe we could have helped the Chinese and Koreans more, and not been bombed. On the other hand, we've also gotten involved when we shouldn't. It is what it is. Anyway, I'm not saying American government choices have always been stellar, but it's easy to take potshots in hindsight, like armchair politicians.
Anyway, to say it's okay for ***** to invade another country (which he's done lots of times) and destroy and kill and terrorize innocent people falls far short of reason.
As far as blocking Bivol, of course it's understandable. It doesn't matter that he isn't responsible for the war. I didn't elect *****, but I'm still paying more for everything and watched my investments take a dive. That's how sanctions work. That's how war goes. It isn't about Bivol, just like it isn't about all the Russians who hate *****, support Ukraine, and even share family across borders. Nonetheless, it's about Russia, specifically the Russian government, and he's a Russian citizen. Period.
You have a better way to make Russia possibly hurt enough to relent? When you can't force, you have to finesse.
If Russia was doing to the US what it is doing to Ukraine, and we were unable to stop them mightily, I would like to think everybody here would agree that we ought to be blocking them in everything. So everybody is entitled to their own opinion (except Russian trolls, they're propagandized), but just consider that it's based on your personal involvement or lack of involvement in this war. You may think blocking Bivol is senseless now, but if the war was closer to your own house, you'd probably think different.Comment

An independent British-American group, the Iraq Body Count project (IBC project) compiles reported Iraqi civilian deaths resulting from war since the 2003 invasion and ensuing insurgency and civil war, including those caused directly by coalition military action, Iraqi military actions, the Iraqi insurgency, and those resulting from excess crime.
The IBC project has recorded a range of at least 185,194 – 208,167 total violent civilian deaths through June 2020 in their database.[8][19] The Iraq Body Count (IBC) project records its numbers based on a "comprehensive survey of commercial media and NGO-based reports, along with official records that have been released into the public sphere. Reports range from specific, incident based accounts to figures from hospitals, morgues, and other documentary data-gathering agencies." The IBC was also given access to the WikiLeaks disclosures of the Iraq War Logs.
Retaliation? For what?It was a false flag invasion, there were no WMD.
This one is also juicy
Nagasaki Nuclear bomb ;
Casualty estimates for immediate deaths vary widely, ranging from 22,000 to 75,000.[219] At least 35,000–40,000 people were killed and 60,000 others injured.[220][221] In the days and months following the explosion, more people died from their injuries. Because of the presence of undocumented foreign workers, and a number of military personnel in transit, there are great discrepancies in the estimates of total deaths by the end of 1945; a range of 39,000 to 80,000 can be found in various studies.[123]
Unlike Hiroshima's military death toll, only 150 Japanese soldiers were killed instantly, including 36 from the 134th AAA Regiment of the 4th AAA Division.
And you want to talk about Russia

first of all iraq had nothing to do with that
second pretty much all of the 9/11 attackers were saudi arabian nationals, believe it or not they all received their flight training in florida, yes florida, they may have spent time in failed state afghanistan but not one afghan was involved in 9/11, 9/11 happened because a group of saudis led by bin laden were pissed off at US policy in certain countries, the taliban are a group of conservative farmers basically who want a strict islamic state, not to attack other countries like bin ladenComment

Of course those events were terrible but they were not done deliberate like 911 was and didn't take a fraction of the lives.
If that's your argument that this is somehow eye for an eye, that's way off. Imagine if we took likes out of spite. The casualties would be unfathomable. The world is BY FAR a better place because of the US. Don't forget that.Comment

You compare Bucha to not fighting for millions? Just so I get that right
You're in a logic tangle.
Correct that Ukrainian citizens don't deserve to die by acts of others. (who does?)
But by your logic, now that Ukranian citizens are dying, then Russian citizens must be made to suffer too. (otherwise known as 2 wrongs make a right)
Lets just all suffer shall we?Comment

Are you having a problem with the difference between a provoked attack and non provoked attack?

That's what separates us, so no, we have never done anything like Russia is doing right now.
Go wash your hands for daring to write filth like thatComment
