Comments Thread For: Dana White Concerned, Wants Kamaru Usman To Stay Away From Canelo Alvarez

Last week, some words were exchanged by boxing's pound-for-pound king Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. Usman and his management are making what many view as laughable claims that Canelo is avoiding a potential cross-sport boxing match.

These guys start KOing non boxers and all of a sudden they think they will beat top tier boxers. Just stay in your lane.

        They want payday.

UFC fighters are thirsty for that Canelo money.

Hell yeah they're thirsty for a payday, same as 99% of boxers. It shouldn't happen though, two different sports. Hopefully this cross sports stuff ends both ways.

Usman should win a world title in Boxing to have a chance to get a fight against Canelo. He wont Box anyone other than Canelo.

Same reason he doesn't want Fury v Francis.
They don't stand a chance in boxing

UFC guys all wanting a pay day. That's Dana and UFC's fault for paying them so poorly.

                    Usman made 500k for Covington
                    Ngannou made 600k for Gane

That's disgusting for headliners on a UFC PPV.
