I'd give Canelo a bit of a chance to win against Usyk, but wouldn't make him the favourite.

Its not as impossible as some are implying. Be honest, as long as Canelo doesn't get knocked out we all know he has a better than not chance of getting the decision. And Usyk hasnt knocked anyone out at heavyweight yet.

They both ducked so many prime opponents that we'll never really know how good either of them were. In that sense, you can compare them. But based on eye test, Roy Jones Jr was not just faster and more powerful than Canelo, he was also bigger, longer, and more mobile. He basically had everything over Canelo except for maybe short range fundamentals and guard, but Canelo doesn't punch hard enough for it to matter. Even older Roy Jones Jr took some of Lebedev's best shots. Lebedev is a little like Canelo except 50 lbs bigger.
