I think the fight hit all the marks for a solid FOTY candidate. A close, extremely competitive unification fight between two reigning undisputed champions, with non-stop action and plenty of drama capped off by a wild toe-to-toe finish. I suppose some people feel that the media and some fans are merely patronizing women's boxing, but I don't think so. This was a big, high-energy event that delivered on the promise of a great fight. Anybody who saw it wants to see the rematch.

there is room in the sport for big mens events and also big womens events, its a good thing not a bad thing, both girls put it on the line that night, u could tell the fans enjoyed that, they will come back for a rematch, i think they should just do a rerun at the garden later this year
