Undefeated champions are bums??? WTF planet are you from? What you do not know about boxing is very impressive! Look at the record of any champion in the last 50 years and count the number of undefeated champions they fought consecutively. Boxing has a rich history that is worth reading. It will help you avoid posting drivel.Comment

Would love to see Spence v Canelo. Can’t see why he’d come down to 164. But that fight could do 95k in AT&T Stadium.
Charlo is more likely to happen next year.Comment

You spent years accusing Floyd of ducking whenever he didn’t fight someone.
Now you’re questioning when other posters apply your same standard to Canelo.
Unbelievable.
You’ve been such a hating, slimy, racist f@ggot for so long that you deserve to watch posters treat Canelo the same way.
Everything you posted about Floyd now holds for Canelo- plus Floyd easily beat him and Canelo actually tested positive for PED’s.

Let’s makes this simple- the dazn deal is worth up to 160 mil for 3 fights, meaning not to exceed that amount and he may get less than that based on Ppv sales. The PBC deal was worth 100 mil guaranteed, plus a Ppv upside. Now if his fights with pbc did similar numbers to his fight with plant (they’d likely do more because all 3 options are bigger names than plant) he could get in the 160 range for just 2 fights. Not to mention that as is mentioned in this article, Canelo clearly gets more buys when fighting on the cable Ppv model than on the dazn app.
So you all can make your assumptions as to why he picked the option that he did, but don’t use the argument that it’s because dazn offered more money because that just isn’t accurate.Comment

But allow him to make the jump so as to get into more lucrative business, and possibly get a longer-term arrangement going with the most valuable free agent going?
Personally, I reckon a company would think that particular move worth the sacrifice.Comment

I just think it’s odd. His American profile has decreased since he went off HBO. No one mentions him when his fights are within a week out in the media and no one I know asked me about his opponents except when he fought plant and that fight and it’s buildup was accessible to the publicComment

Ah, thanks for letting us know that boring fighters fill stadiums during pandemics, and generate scores of millions of dollars for themselves their opponents, vendors, broadcasters, media outlets, and ancillary businesses. including YouTubers who make a few quid posting videos. Gosh how much money do EXCITING fighters generate and who are they?Comment

Canelo is fighting an undefeated LHW champion, this dude forgot to mention that when he mentioned Charlo who has done nothing at 160. He's still living off his success at 154, much like Danny Garcia when he was at 140. I give Danny this though at least he fought top guys at 147. Charlo wont fight Andrade, wouldn't fight Jacobs and didn't fight GGG. Yet he somehow deserves a Canelo fight. Also Canelo isn't gonna let guys like Spence dictate the terms for the fight when it comes to weight. Why don't they have Charlo and Benavidez fight? Oh thats right Charlo is scared of him. Spence needs to fight Crawford next, before moving up.
It looks bad to suggest men that have a better chance to beat Canelo have to “earn” the fight when he willingly fights lesser opponents like khan.
Charlo tried to fight Munguia and GGG. That’s not his fault. But yeah, no one is fighting Andrade and Haymon is holding off on charlo/Benavidez .Comment
