Always great for a fighter to have a home bout. Maybe she could rematch the lady she just lost to?

Rematch Jessica McCaskill anywhere. I'm personally more interested in that fight than a Serrano repeat. I've seen enough last Saturday.

First off, that was a utterly amazing fight, very nearly as compelling as Katie Taylor vs Delfine Persoon in 2019 in the same venue. As Katie had her struggles and found herself going through hell in both fights to get wins on the cards, It is interesting to compare the two fights.

Katie is arguably the better technical boxer against both Persoon and Serrano, especially against Delfine it may be even fairer to say. Serrano looked outboxed throughout most of the fight IMO, whereas Delfine made Taylor constantly uucomfortabe, as her physical strength and engine enabled her a ridiculously gruelling, rugged and relentless fighting style that Katie never managed to, escape from, slow down or catch a break from.

Against Amanda it was different, although Serrano dosent come close to fighting as physically as Person, nor do nor does she have her engine or sheer strength, she hits much harder with single punches, so crispy , cleanly and frankly, hard that she came even closer than Delfine managed to stopping Taylor, (excluding possibly round 10 after Delfine had pressured, ragdolled, hit, and physical bullied Katie so much throughout the fight, that her strength had finally totally worn Katie down), but Amanda almost stopped her by precision power punching. In fact, every time Amanda landed cleanly, Katie looked shell-shocked, like never before really and looked totally panicked and went on the defensive. Another difference maybe, was that Katie was, able to back off from Serrano and catch breaks, whereas Delfine merely walked her down and dragged her straight back into the trenches.

This was an amazing fight, and I would absolutely love to see it again, but with Amanda being seemingly able to hurt Katie so easily, we shall see if Taylor wants it. Money talks though.

My humble apology; I was commenting on Taylor vs Cindy Serrano (from 2018).
