Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford: I'm Going Straight Into Spence Fight & After That, I Will F--- Up Charlo

So let's venture to the "other side" of the street and see why didn't he fight those guys.
Spence - wouldn't take anything but a larger share of the purse, his people based it on PPV numbers, which I would be glad to provide you the numbers and explanations on why that argument holds no water, but he was also mistaken that Terence needs him and not the other way around. The fight doesn't happen, Bud moves up and fights for Unified there as mando for the WBO, Fight does happen he fights for unified at 147. Spence fights Bud at 147 for undisputed or moves up and has to face him if he gets Mando first for vacating at 147, assuming he wins there too. So that fight hasn't happened because of politics but now it's unavoidable whether at 147 or 154 but it is a longer road for Spence if he want to be unified.
Thurman - what can you say about this guy? Lotta talk but with him asking or at least his reps asking for 10 mil. to fight Crawford right after a loss to Paq where he made 2.5 mil. This was also during the Covid shutdowns. He didn't want that or his people didn't but either way, no smart business person would've put money behind that fight. Not to mention he did his best avoiding Spence while he was champ.
Danny Garcia - Was given a contract to fight Crawford for 3 million, which he acknowledges but they felt wasn't the right fight for him at the time, he fell into irrelevancy shortly after, this was further proved by his dismantling by Spence n his first fight after the accident.
Pacquiao - He wanted 40 mil for the Bud fight. he took 15 to fight Spence, and ended up with Ugas, but still, The purse differential was staggering. In my opinion professional opinion, this was Manny thumbing his nose at Bob Arum. If he was gonna fight against one of Bob's fighters he was gonna make Bob source the money and a lot of it.
Porter - Did fight and it was a great fight. He came out more controlled but still with that tenacity he is known for. Great fight just wish it would have happened a little sooner. Also, check out this podcast, you really get to hear a fighter's observations. If you've ever been part of a gym or a club you'll see how much deeper the mind works at that level.
Terence Crawford's opponents have been the best available provided by Top Rank who have promised the Spence Fight for 3 years now and never could deliver. All these "tune-up fights" were against Top 10 ranked opponents, Let me ask you this, If Bud has only fought tune-up guys, then why hasn't Spence come for that belt until now? He's had the opportunity but it hasn't happened.

Nope, nothing to brag about at the moment. Just losses, for a while now.
I'll put it like this. I had two physical shops to help with global shipping. One in Germany to serve Europe. The other in Russia to serve Asia. How they doin'?I'm well ****ed.
It's not like you really get options. You have the connections you have. If I could have been in China to ship to Russia I would have, but I met French ****ers through Canada who hooked me up with French dudes in France and they lead to the UK and Germany who lead to the Russian connection. I was working on China but war were declared. Now I have to talk business more than boxing and bull****.
