It's his financial status.
Only an idiot would think that losing 5 mil ain't hurting Floyd.. It isn't like he is losing a few pennies.. He is losing 5 million! 5 million is 5 million, regardless of how much money you have, it hurts. Not to mention the amount of money he lost on ***els (8 million).. that's 13 million dollars right there.
What you *****s don't understand is that, maybe they payed him soo many mils for his last fight, that DOESN'T mean all that money is in the bank. It's not like he can just cash it out.. It's invested into luxuries and homes that have devalued and depreciated. You really think a new car is worth the same after having a few miles on it? NO. He's paying for this cars with high interest rates too..
Not to mention he bought property in Michigan and Nevada. Two states that have been drastically effected by the housing crisis. Floyd isn't starving to death.. NO. But you can't say that he is definitely not hurting.
That wasn't a weight drained Mayweather we saw the other day, it was an emotional Mayweather in desperation. What he said would never happen to him is happening. Not only that but the entire boxing community is laughing at him about it behind his back.
Something positive can come out of this situation though, were there is
hardship there is also great opportunity.
Losing these vasts amount of money is no joke.
Maybe this sparks the flame in him though & makes him determined and hungry once again.
Maybe this experience will teach him humility and what it is to be humble?
Maybe it will motivate him to fight harder.
