BTW, Fury attempted to make fights with Usyk and Joshua

For Joshua fight Wilder ruined it by court enforcing his rematch and demanding 20m dollars, after Fury had signed to fight AJ

For Usyk he tried to pay Joshua to step aside but AJ demanded silly money

So if fury retires, you can't say he was "scared" since he literally made very reasonable efforts to fight both of them RECENTLY.

Fury knew he was tied up with Wilder. Talking to any fighter was a waste of time.
Can't blame a guy for not wanting to step aside.

Fury will have a chance to fight one of them and he knows it.
    That's why he's quitting !

This is the narrative now, instead of ducking Whyte, he's now ducking Usyk.

If he fights and beats Usyk, then he's ducking Hrgovic or Sanchez.

I really don't see any reason for Fury not to fight at least once more against the winner of Usyk vs Joshua. It'll be for all the belts and a claim to the undisputed champion. Would be super historic either way. If it's Joshua you have possibly the biggest fight in UK history. And against Usyk you have the battle of two undefeated fighters.

Fury vacating would just allow some other fringe contender to claim champion status and duck a unification, especially if it's Wilder.

Agreed, but I'm still convinced this 'retirement' is just a negotiation tactic.

Remember when Floyd 'retired' after the Oscar fight?

If he sweeps up the belts, no one is going to be mad if he retires and you know it

Why do you think Fury was talking to AJ about a fight KNOWING he was tied up with Wilder ?

They belong to Fury anyway. Usyk didn't beat a real champion for them.

Wilder disappeared off the face of the earth, Fury wanted to move on.
