I’ve rarely seen Wilder out jab anyone besides Arreola off hand because he’s not really a jabber which makes that long reach a real waste . He was even losing the jab battle with Washington . While Hrgovic is a low volume jabber himself he uses it intelligently as a weapon to lure guys in and knock down opponents guards etc …I really don’t see Hrgovic not adapting to anything Wilder brings ,I see him systematically picking him apart before he lowers the kaboom on him .

He has the second best jab in the division.

He can have the first best jab it means nothing if he doesn’t use it , he throws the least jabs out of any heavyweight . It’s how I knew he’d lose all 3 fights to Fury . It’s actually why Whyte did so poorly ,you won’t defeat Fury without an active jab and Wilder certainly wouldn’t outsmart Hrgovic he’d be an open target against a very durable dangerous puncher , Wilders reliance on overall reach would once again become nullified against the 6”6 Hrgovic . Wilder got away with a lot just due to that fact alone . Hrgovic like it or not is easily one the best big men boxer / puncher since actually A.J of this era still active .

The brezeale comparrison doesn't really hold that much weight though as Wilder was on like 9 title defences, Fury was just a random man do vs Klitschko.
