Canelo is the only one that “tuned up” Golovkin (and that was in two dead even fights). No one else from #154 - #160 had a prayer against Golovkin the last decade.

I want to see if Berlanga learned anything from their first fight, and can decisively beat Rolls the second time around.
It's very important for him, as it is for every other fighter to learn and perfect their skills as their career progresses.
Spot on! Berlanga has a long way to go and frankly may never become elite. It's too bad he was hyped like he was.

Berlanga is too easy to hit. Not impress at all. All he has is decent power. The top 10 guys in the division will steam roll him. Better be a fast learner.

Put your $$$ on Angulo with the shocking upset. Angulo is tough & rugged and will break Berlanga down. If Berlanga doesn’t get him out of there early which he will have a difficult time doing since it took Benevidez awhile to get Angulo out of there.

One thing I noticed in the Rolls fight is that Berlanga was hesitant to trade against a light puncher like Rolls tells me that he has issues with that chin. Angulo though not skilled enough will land something big on Berlanga.

I hate to rag on a fighter, but Berlanga is a hype job.

I thought he deserved to lose to Rolls and his post-fight comments were absurd.

I admire anyone who gets in the ring but I think he's pretty much maxed out his potential. I could be wrong and he could learn how to jab, but AFAIK he's pretty one-dimensional and has a low ceiling.

I thought that Berlanga would improve but he hasn't. Very limited set of skills and doesn't know how to set up his opponent. He was getting gun shy with Rolls because he has too many defensive flaws and doesn't know what to do.

                  What else can you do?

The hype was strong with this one. They have to give him experience. He's basically a prospect again.

At no point was G in any danger. That's the point.

When G wanted it wrapped up, he wrapped it up.

Basically, what Bumlanga was hyped as being able to do.

I am putting my money Berlanga being knocked out. He hits hard but I have that feeling his chin won't hold up against someone that hits as hard as he does.
