this sparring session was very light.

I didn't like how the sparring partner was able to hit jmm w/ jabs.

Oh man. This was difficult to watch. I feel sorry for JMM, he is my second favorite fighter (Floyd's the first), and he's gonna get the beatdown of his life.

This was just a light sparring session on media day. Marquez vision isn't as good with that headgear covering his whole face. My headgear doesn't even cover up close to as much as the one he was wearing and it messes up my vision. This also appeared to just be the first round of sparring. Marquez is known to be a pretty slow starter and then make adjustments as the fight goes on.

People, like always, make too much of a simple sparring session.

Mayweather still may destroy Marquez, I dunno, but I don't think this sparring session indicates anything.

Are you saying that Marquez may have been hit by those slow jabs and stuff because it was a light sparring session on media day?

I mean if it's a light sparring session on media day, maybe he got careless alot?

The headgear covered the dudes entire face except his eyes. That really limits your vision a lot. It's good so he doesn't get any marks on his face so close to fight night, I'm just saying. I think that had a lot to do with him getting hit with jabs. Plus, yea it was just a light sparring session on media day. Marquez clearly wasn't trying too hard. Whenever he decided to open up he was tagging that guy with nice shots.

Take the head gear off, add the focus he will have on fight night, trying his hardest, and Marquez will look much better and sharper. I dunno it it's enough to win, I hope so, but nothing I seen in this sparring session really worries me.
