I've been watching a lot of Pernell Whitaker and I believe the guy does not get enough credit. He has spectacular, footwork, defense, counter-punching, timing, and his Iq is arguably the greatest. At the same time, Crawford has accomplished just as much, if not more, in a shorter timespan. Who would you say was the better fighter overall? I think Crawford was better offensively and much more talented whereas Pernell was just more skilled. Thoughts?

To be fair, Crawford HASNT beaten enough “elite” fighters to make this judgement. I’d of liked to of seen him fight more than just ONE great fighter, but then again, I am hard to please.

Pernell was limited asf with hamster offensive skills. His defensive skills were based on foul. (Rolls and slips below waistline.) Also, he was lack of brawling ability, punch power etc..

Crawfish is all around more complete fighter.

Pernell Whitaker is your favorite boxer's favorite boxer. All the skills you can develop, he had them. Exhibit A of what a crafty fighter is. Of course he could have had more pop to his punches but no boxer can have it all. I dont know that Crawford's career already surpasses Whitaker's but long term you can see Crawford passing him because he doesnt have those demons.

Pea a great natural talent, but better suited for the circus where he won't get KOed while clowning.

And how many times was Whitaker KOed? Dumb, even for a complete moron like you.

                    Whitaker.

He fought and beat Nelson, Ramirez, Chavez, Mcgirt and has a very underrated win against Julio Cesar Vazquez. He also faced ODLH, Trinidad at the end of his career giving a competitive fight. Was scheduled to fight Ike Quartey but he popped dirty with ******* and it was down hill from there.
