Comments Thread For: Klitschko Teases Ring Return to Fight Fury; Intrigued By Possibility to Break Foreman's Record

Wladimir Klitschko apparently still has some ring ambition left in the tank. Klitschko, the former long-reigning heavyweight titlist who dominated the division from 2004-2015, suggested in an interview Monday that he has not completely ruled out a return to boxing, on the caveats that he can still get into "shape" and that the geopolitical alignment of his country does not drastically change anytime soon. "Dr. Steelhammer'' is currently tied up trying to defend his homeland of Ukraine against the ongoing Russian invasion.

Too old and too inactive. Foreman had a second career and it did not start at 45 years old. On top of that Klit las few fights was looking a lot like John Ruiz style, very low output and a lot of holding.

That Fury Vs Klit fight was one of the most boring fights ever.

Fury would of probaly stop wlad at this point if he came back at 45 years old out the ring for 5 years. He couldn't beat him when he was active at 38 and fury was making his first big step up

I've watched Fury vs Wlad at least 50 times and it was a tremendous fight. Unfortunately this era Is too strong that Wlad can't comeback and beat a poor boxer like Moorer for a world title. Nash out.

Fury damn near shut him out, he's somehow gonna come back better than he was and win? He can't be serious.

Wlad can't beat Fury but he would have a better chance against AJ or even Usyk, AJ he almost beat before and AJ has regressed, Usyk did well in sparring vs Wlad but Wlad has enough veteran nous to fight a big man fight against Usyk in a real boxing match.

You know what? Wlad vs Usyk just might be the right style matchup for Wlad, if Usyk beats AJ, and this would be a wildly marketable fight due to the Ukraine angle.
