It happens occasionally. Chris Byrd is a pretty good example of someone who jumped up in weight within a short time frame and did well. Within about 4 fights he went from super middle to heavyweight and ended up settling at a similar weight to someone like Tyson. He has a pretty solid resume so I guess you could say he was dominant.

Pacquiao is just a great fighter. I honestly think it's that simple.
