Thats a pretty damn good list. I agree mostly with exception to Tua. He was one of my favorites to watch but most on that list would use his short stature against him. Thats not to say he couldnt beat alot of them.

Gave too much headache to "prime Holmes".

His only weaknesses was his chin. Foreman and Shavers exposed it.

There's enough unbeaten HW champions to rate them by how long their careers were.
            1. Theaganese
            2. Klietomachos
            3. Melankomas
            4. Glaukos
            5. Marciano
            6. Fury
            7. Ben Brian
            8. Henry Pearce
            9. Joe Wormald
            10. Tom Lyons and Jack Fearns
            Only 2 in gloved history.

            5 in bareknuckle history

            4 in ancient history

Tom and Jack only have their title fights on record so even though technically 11 they can share a spot and with only one fight on record they're lucky to be mentioned at all tbh.

Pearce, Brian, and Wormald all come in the upper single digits, 7-9 fights. Short records but not actually short for their eras.

Not really much point in talking about Rocky or Fury. I'll say this while everyone's up Fury's butt at the moment. Marciano's record isn't just damn near double in length and more than double in KOs, there are no draws on Marciano's record and he was undisputed.

Glaukos is estimated in the hundreds on the low end. like 120 or abouts

Mel is damn near triple that.

Klietomachos and Theaganese crack 1k. Keep in mind these guy went through what we use as hyperbole when making fun of resumes. For real pick ups who had no business even trying. Dudes who just signed up to do it. So while Theo's 1200 is pretty unbelievable the idea a guy like Fury can't be a thousand me's is also unbelievable. Dude kicks my ass every single time, I could get 10k goes and Fury and never win. In an era with real walk ins and no weight limits, maybe they really did crack 1k.

As far as how they match up, I'm a Marciano fan for a reason. He's the only guy in there that has a special reason to believe he can fight outside of his own era. He uses plenty of bare knuckle and downright ancient tactics and techniques. So it's not as big a stretch to say he could have fought in the LPRR or Pymachia eras and not rely on personal bias like him hit so hard doe, or him so big doe. Rocky actually has a technical answer for men not in his era.

Outside of that, I think the unbeaten champion win in his own era. Rocky has something to consider, and given Tom and Jack are single fighters I'd probably favor him over them, but outside of that, Pearce, Brian, and Wormald probably kick Rocky, Fury, Theo Glaukos, and Mel's asses in BK. Likewise, I know y'all are tard fanboys but the reality is time is bad for big guys and even Rocky is kinda big in the ancient days let alone Fury. I think the ancients would kill anyone not from their era. Not just beat, they'd murder Rocky, Fury, Brian, Hen, Joe, Tom and Jack. And again, Rocky should be favored in the 15 round era while Tyson holds the 12 round era soundly.

The dudes who benefit the most from the shift from 15 to 12 rounds are Willard and Carnera. I know when people talk Marciano vs Fury it's always a size debate but if y'all weren't so ****ing ****** you'd realize Fury's size is not the worst bit Marciano would have to get over. It's pacing for a 12 round. Same for Fury and a 15 round. Having an end to a match, period, is for big dudes. The shorter the fight the better off larger guys are. That's why Butterbean fought 4 rounders. That's also why Hall vs Thor was a 6 rounder. If you want to see Eddie Hall die you put him in a fight with a 130 who knows what he's doing and has from sun up to sun down to do it.

Or your ****** ass thinks boxing has proven evolution and the great debate is over because evolution is no longer an unprovable theory but rather a fact given we have the history to show it right here in boxing.

I know OP means just the gloves, everyone always means just the gloves, but just a very small section of history is both ****** and boring.

Tua knew his lack of height would be a target. He had above boxing abilities considering. He can also take a punch. He was a ferocious puncher that everyone knew to keep at bay.
IMHO, the guys below him would fight Tua's fight and eventually get caught.
