Has Fury actually vacated the WBC strap?

He took the whyte fight as a forced mandatory to keep the belt. if he was going to vacate/quit boxing he could have fought whomever he wanted.

I am really hoping he stays and faces usyk/AJ to unify. He only turns 34 this year which isnt old for a heavyweight. He is going around saying he wants Wilder to fight for the vacant WBC now but has he actually vacated?

I dont believe this guy will retire, he will probably pull a floyd and stay out for 1-2 years. But its also dangerous because this guy balloons up in weight, he may be a shell of himself if he "quits" boxing and comes back.

Fury says a lot of things, last night he said Dillian Whyte will be a world champion in the future

Just watch his actions, what he says isn't important

I believe he’ll fight again for the undisputed. Anything else beyond aj or usyk isn’t worth watching. And wouldn’t exactly motivate him.

another article his wife is saying she thinks he will come back for AJ-Usyk, which sounds like she is giving him the green light to keep fighting.

this is all good news since i want to see him unify. I am not so worried he would retire permanently but more that he would take the next year off, he already missed AJ when he was undefeated, but if he takes another year off then misses out of AJ-Usyk immediate winner, loses his belt there will be other guys trying to unify all that mess. maybe even AJ gets furys old belt after losing to usyk.
