It was sloppy and uneventful until Fury grazed Whyte's cheek and gave a 2 handed chest shove

Everyone except a few loose NSB screws knew how trhis was going to end.
Just like Khan had his moments with Nelo.....Khan was fighting on borrowed time. As was Whyte.

Fury showed why 6-1 odds were a joke. Whyte with his stiff front leg gets caught with a single uppercut just like Sasha did him.
I’ll give him credit for landing one or two decent body shots. He was just outclassed though. Tough fight for style. Probably would have looked better in an AJ rematch, but he already lost there.
Fight Ruiz, fight Wilder, all that’s left if he can even get those fights. Taken two big KOs.

Fury won every round and as the fight progressed he gradually became more aggressive and dominant. He was looking like he was going to go for the KO. I think he saw that Whyte was unable to handle the pressure and so he was amping it up. If people think this fight was a passive, laid back fight, then they have no idea about boxing. Fury and Whyte were both fighting to win and to hurt each other. Even Whyte did some things well, in particular his body punching. The problem for Whyte is that Fury was landing vicious body shots too and inflicting much more damage. I didn't score any round for Whyte.

Whyte was terrible. It was still a bad stylistic match up for him, even at this stage of Fury's career.

Fury is still there to be hit, it is still unclear how Fury will do against other top-heavyweights.

But he got the win, so well done.

Whyte will come again, and win fights against other top guys who? Do not have the dimensions to their game which totally cancel him out.

If it was a bad stylistic match up, why did you predict Whyte to knock Fury out?

You can only give Whyte a pity round or two. He didn’t necessarily won any rounds.

Go back and read my posts and find out.

                  I am not explaining again.

In truth, if I wanted to be right? I could of been right.

But saw a possibility that Fury, made a mistake in tactics so I ran with that.

Better than just keeping with the status quo. My theory was not quite correct, at least for the Whyte fight.

I still think Fury is there to be hit, and it is unclear how he does against other top heavyweights. Whyte could hardly move mate.

Wow, it was amazing to see.

You need to realise that Fury makes all these guys look useless because he's levels above them.

Whyte is a bum compared to Fury, but he would probably stand a good chance against anyone else in the division, Wilder knocks him out tho.

There are only a few elite fighters at heavyweight.

Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Joshua. Then you have just below that, Parker, Chisora, Ruiz Junior, Whyte, Sanchez* could be elite, all the other characters.

Those first four are kind of a level or half a level ahead of the rest.
