I like Joyce and worry this fight could derail him. Parker is not all that great overall but hes pretty quick and seems to be one of the most durable guys in the division. Stylistically i'm not sure Joyce can do his usual gradual breaking down thing here, and if it goes the distance I favour Parker winning on points. Joyce does not have time for losses either.
Both guys will be standing by fight’s end, but Joyce will outbox Parker
Very decent fight I think. Haven't seen Parkers most recent fights. Will have to have a look and see how he's looked recently.
To give you a heads up, he’s looked middling to quite alright. Demonstrated some hitherto unseen excellent shots against Chisora but his conditioning was awful. A fitter man would have finished Derrick on any of the 3 occasions he went down, but Parker was getting backed up in the last 30 seconds of most rounds.
If he improves this, Joyce will find it tougher. As it stands, Joyce by unanimous decision
Just had Fury/Whyte, Joshua/Usyk to come, as well as probably Ortiz/Ruiz and now Joyce/Parker. We almost got Hrgovic/Yoka too. There's been some good HW matchups of late.
Depends on what Parker shows up, im guessing he will show flashes of quality and aggression like in his last fight but will predictably go back to his, content with going to the cards, in a close fight where Joyces endless underwater arm punches wins him a UD, but then again if Jennings can hurt him and oap blob stirverne is landing at will then you never know, seems like Joyce has a granite chin though. fun fight
