I agree with Haye. Whyte looked gassed in the corner after round 2.

In reality, he would much rather earn massive paydays facing D level talent on ****ty Matchroom cards. From the weigh in you could just see how little pop Whyte had in his demeanour towards Fury. He's dodged fights with Wallin, Breazeale, and Ortiz...he was never serious about his legacy.
Thank you. I’ve been saying this all along.

He only showed up to get paid. He lost the fight long before the contract was finally signed. His marketability is gone now.

Whyte between looking horrible in ring and not working to sale fights hes going to be relegated to gatekeeper status now. Whyte vs hrgovic next. Fury coming back for series vs aj if wins and maybe 1 more. You can see he wants to still fight and with the lack of competition from whyte, fury probably felt this was a quick spar match still looking for a fight hes irish

I wouldn't say he laid down, he really understood early he had no answer. Fury was just too big and too good. He was discouraged once the first good shot from Fury landed. I agree with you I never thought highly of Whyte just a step above Chisora.

It’s funny, people in Gibraltar on fight week for that rematch we’re saying Povetkin barely looked steady on his feet walking around days before the fight lol

100%. But you forgot to mention he turned down a shot at AJ for 4 world titles.

British fan boys, conveniently forget all this

I'll assume you either didn't watch the fight or sarcastically foretell Whyte's excuses for the loss.

Except that he didn't. He was ludicrously low balled by Eddie. And if you've followed Eddie you'd know when Eddie wants to make a fight, what he says, does and how he behaves vs when he doesn't. They sort of low key offered Whyte 2mil or something and tried to sell the fight to him as an opportunity to fight for the belts. That's not how it works at first, and, secondly, even back than Whyte's marketability was way higher than the offer. Especially given that they could have marketed the fight as a grudge match to settle the score from their 1st fight. It was clear to me that Heatn half-assed that just to tick a box that he was trying to do something for Whyte. So...no, in reality they didn't want to fight Whyte and how they went about it reflected this.
