I have never seen that lad fight before tonight but I'll say a no.

His stamina seemed to be his outstanding characteristic. Which tbf a week out from when he should have fought is testament to his athleticism.

But Benn should fight him right?

British fighters that skip through the levels usually get found out. Benn is way better than most of us thought he was gonna be but I dont like that faded ex world champ route Hearn has him on.

British title/ Commonwealth, European, top 10 ranked opp, maybe your shot. Because at that point you are fighting champions with ambition essentially.

Just dont want him to go from Van Heerden to getting banjoed but Keith Thurman or whatever.

I think he’s definitely got a chance. Essuman struggled with the tall southpaw style of Tetley. Benn doesn’t present those same kind of problems. 50/50 fight for me. I’d really like to see it.
