English food is bland and sucks. Scottish and Irish food have flavor pretty simple but you already know that. It's like you need reassurance and are a glutton for punishment, just like you know the USA is the mecca of boxing and the UK is known for having fragile orbital bones as well as having a huge tendency to quit in big fights.
