Dillian Whyte is making up for lost promotional time. The Jamaican-born, London resident has stayed mum for nearly the entire build-up toward his showdown with Tyson Fury for Fury's WBC heavyweight title that takes place this Saturday, April 23, at Wembley Stadium in London, but has recently come out of his shell.

Whyte means Fury's promotional team won the purse bid.

Anyway, maybe the media overreacted. What did he miss, one press conference, that's all, and maybe agreeing to do a bit of extra promo in England?

As long as he weighed in, which he did, and they show up at the fight, that's enough. They sold out Wembley for a new record crowd for this century for an outdoor boxing event. That's pretty impressive.

Don’t have a problem with Whyte, but don’t exactly hate Fury either, so no problem who wins.

But if you want Fury to lose because you just don’t like him, then that’s more than fair enough. Thing is, calling him on the drugs omits Whyte’s own chequered past with performance enhancers. Twice he’s been done.
