You know what though, I think what bothers alot of people is not so much that Serena was making a scene, but it's what she said.

She threatened the judge by saying, "she was gonna chuck something down her throat" I'm paraphrasing.

John McEnroe is know for these kind of tirades , but I don't think he's ever verbally threatened a judge to do something physical to them.
