Tyson Fury looked very NERVOUS at the press conference!

Anyone else feel like this? Fury wasn’t himself, his usual confident talking self, he had little to say and just wanted it over quickly, he doesn’t seem confident around whyte.

Also when talking about the sparring, it’s obvious now whyte beat him up cause fury was trying hard to say how it was so many years ago and it doesn’t matter now and he’s so much a different and better fighter now.

Dillian Whyte on the other hand seemed calm relaxed reserved, making jokes, he seems ready.

    Whyte by KO/TKO.

EDIT: Also watched both face offs, the one straight after the press conference and the one minutes after at Wembley stadium, both times fury looked away first and didn’t want to engage in the face off, seemed nervous to look at Whyte.

I’ve been saying this he hasn’t been talking or acting right in interviews lately either the closer he gets to the fight the more off he seems. I hope its nothing though I don’t want him to lose to Whyte because he has the ability to beat him with not much trouble.

I’ve been saying it all week ,Fury has a very relaxed manner behind him when not around guys who won’t take his banter . Whyte is one of those guys , not even John wanted to rile him up but he started with Dean . I’d say Fury reacted the way I thought he would which was being humble and somewhat nervous energy we’ll see what happens at the weigh in .

Fury is laid back, it is clear that deep down he does not expect Whyte to be a threat.

Fury is open, he is not hard to read. When you really analyze him. He has never been a fighter who plays the poker face.

If he is angry, you will know about it. What state Fury is in, he will broadcast it to the world.

Whyte for me, seems game but is definitely more tense than Fury. This is his first time at the big dance.

Whyte seems like a pretty serious guy outside of the ring so that could be a factor. I feel like a bit of nervous energy could actually help Fury though. I think he needs something to really motivate him otherwise he gets a bit complacent.

I expected more back and forth from both guys. There was a cordial feeling and felt more like the after party when the checks have been cashed instead of a build up. I dont get a nervousness from Fury but didnt get a vibe of a destroying mentality either and Whyte was just relaxed and didnt really seem interested.

Does anybody really think prizefighters in their mid 30s at the top of the sport are nervous during press conferences? They have both been in PPV events for years now, this is nothing new, just a bigger stadium, the rest is routine.

If you want to analyse it that deeply you could say Tyson was setting the mood and Whyte was following his lead, basically controlling Whyte, just depends how you look at it

Got to love all the pseudo psychologists that really work in Burger King.

He was supposedly very nervous for the second Wilder fight in the press conference because he acted very polite, right up until the weigh in…

              We saw how that went

Also I’m not sure what people were expecting. When has either guy really caused that much commotion in pressers? Not often, Whyte is pretty much always laid back even though he has this reputation of being a hot head. He never really has been. The only time it was really like that was with Chisora and it was Chisora that was the one throwing the tables and stuff, Whyte did nothing. Fury is generally strictly business most of the time, only a few times he’s really been that vocal.

Well fury never really wanted this fight he wanted AJ. But AJ lost to a cruiserweight and then they had to mandate he fight whyte. He just isnt hyped up for it.

Now that I think about it OP has a point, some of Fury's closest calls were when he overlooked guys in stay busy fights.

Id say whyte has a bigger chance of the upset than AJ or Usyk.
