you are 100% correct Brook was not undefeated and GGG had damaged Brook but the version of Brook that Spence fought was way better then the version Crawford fought and that is not debatable. By the time Crawford fought brook he had 2 broken orbital bones and could not make 147 and had not made 147 in years.

Brook rose quickly as one of my favorite fighters and when he beat porter so decisively I had him tagged as a top 3 in the WW division, then he went and messed it up by fighting GGG and getting destroyed.

Based on their body of work and boxing style, do you think Crawford beats Spence or Vice versa?
It all boils down to that at this point.
No real argument I just think Spence's resume gets a bit over rated. As for Spence vs Crawford I think it's a pretty even fight. If I had to pick a winner I'd say Crawford but it's basically a toss up imo.

Spence's resume is as solid as you can get i mean who else does he need to fight besides the fight we are talking about?

        Ugas
        Danny Garcia
        Shawn porter
Mickey Garcia( ill give you that this should not be here)
        Kell brook

the only fighters missing that didn't just show up to the division and are still making a name for themselves are Thurman and Crawford. Thurman has been injured for ever and Crawford well bob was holding Crawford back. I mean who else did spence miss (an old pacman?) you cant really make a case for since ugas beat pac and Spence destroyed ugas.

I'm not saying it's a bad resume or that Spence ducked anyone. I also said already that it's (obvioulsy) better than Crawford's resume. I just don't think it's as great as some people make it out to be when you really look at it. Brook was coming back down in weight after Golovkin gave him a beating. The Porter fight was an even fight imo, could easily have been a draw. Ugas is a good, solid win and the rest aren't that impressive to me. Not trying to trash the guy I just think his resume gets a bit over rated.

He has never had the intention of fighting anyone with a elite pulse.

If Spence loses to Crawford I suspect he will retire anyway. Crawford will eventually move to 154 if he continues to fight. He’ll humiliate Charlo in a one-sided ass whooping. If Spence wins, he will have Ortiz, Ennis and Benn coming for him, if he moves to 154, Charlo will likely be undisputed by then and move up to 160 as his brother moves on to 168.

Man! I should be clarifying some of my posts - that was directed/baited to one person in particular.
                I apologize

I will agree. I think it’s just a reaction to Crawford’s fans putting Crawford on a pedestal while shïtting on Spence. That’s how it seems.
And yes, Crawford-Spence is a toss-up for me too. This is one of those fights where there’s no shame in losing.
I’m leaning on Spence to win a close fight but it doesn’t matter. If this fight happens, boxing wins.

I mean I was impressed by the way he out gritted porter in porters own fight. he even said he didnt have to do that but he wanted to out dog porter in his own fight. i dont know why people put Ugas on suck a high level he got beat by porter and went 10 rounds with Delorme. was he a solid win yes. also no one has ever beat Danny Garcia like that when they fought. Thurman and Porter barely beat Garcia and most could say that garcia beat himself by not throwing punches like he does( but that's a story for another conversation).

After they both whoop Crawford then maybe they can fight each other or everyone else like Benavides Plant Caleb Smith Jacobs Triple G. I'd rather see them face others instead of their own texas homies
