If it's true my guess is they had the gun anyway and saw Khan and thought he will be carrying an expensive watch which the celebrities often do.

It's possible they were opportunists and they recognised him. Maybe didn't go out with plan to rob, but was too tempting when they saw khan.

Cool, I'll take the word of some random out of towners on Twitter over my 40+ years of actually living there. There are some rough bits (less than there were in the past) but what city doesn't have some?

          You sound like chicken little.

I've lived in cities all around the world and worked in cities all over the UK. You stay in your house twitching your curtain, frightened of the bad men, I'll live a good life.

Sure you have, didn't you just claim that you've lived in London for 40 years?

                  Like i say, London knobhead.

Born and raised, ****head. Doesn't mean I can't live in other places for a year here and there, currently living in Greece. It doesn't sound like you get out much, which makes the hiding behind the curtains assessment **** on.

There's a whole world behind what the press is selling you, but you have to leave the house to explore it.
