Since Shane will be in the ring after the fight....

Of course Mosley turned down a $3 million payday to fight Williams, so double standards shouldn't be used. But where else is Shane going to go for a big fight if nobody with commercial value at 147 or 154 will fight him? Becoming the Middleweight champ would be a huge accomplishment in Mosley's career. And the Williams fight would be just that much bigger if Paul was able to beat Kelly. And we know that Pavlik is a big draw with the Youngstown crowd, so it's a win-win situation for Mosley. The only bad thing about a fight like that for Shane is the danger. But no pain, no gain.Comment

Anyone with any shred of neutrality would give Floyd all of the credit he would deserve for beating the #1 WW in the world....especially an experienced fighter like SSM with the power to ko just about anyone his size.Comment

No offense to Shane he's one of my favorites but he's old, has 5 losses, and is not a bigger draw than Manny Pacquiao.
To add to that, Floyd called him out on National Television(HBO) twice. One at Lightweight and another asking for a fight at WW. Shane said no to both.
Floyd doesn't see a win over a 38 yr-old Shane enhancing his legacy, a win over Shane back then when he had 0 losses that was when Floyd was motivated to fight him. Mosley brings nothing to the table now. Just look who he's fighting next, Clottey?..No offense, very good and tough fighter but Clottey is not really Mega-fight material....Comment
