His conditioning vs Ugas was on point though and it will need to be great against Crawford since there will be a lot of mental pressure to overcome. It's going to be an extremely competitive, back and forth with a lot of momentum changes so the fighter who stays composed the most and does not lose focus will have the edge in the later rounds.

Lawd this is going to be a freaking epic fight. Please give us two or three of these! If the accident did not happen nor Covid, we could have already seen one fight and they would be on their way to fighting a rematch...Oh well, I'll take one for now lol..
I’d happily settle for one man. There was a point in time were I thought it was never gonna happen tbh.

I really didn’t like the Spence I saw on Saturday. I much prefer the methodical beat downs, straight lefts to the body, defensively responsible pre crash Spence.

I’m not convinced he still has the same sharpness and reflexes as he once did
The rocked part is getting way overblown. Dude got clipped by two shots, one FLUSH on the jaw when his hands were down and he was not paying attention. That surprised him more than anything. If he was rocked and on shaky legs, he wouldn't have recovered as fast as he did. That actually showed he has good whiskers and not the other way around...I don't disagree about the body shots though. His reactions to body shots have not been what they used to be. Crawford will need to go to the body to back Spence up.

He had like a year in a half layoff before fight DSG and then the same vs Ugas and he won both fights handily. That is pretty damn impressive. Spence definitely had some rust in the early rounds so if he fights Crawford next without the big layoff and he stays in the gym, I think he should be able to overcome some of that....Both fighters will need to be on their A game. Not saying you are wrong about the Crawford stoppage prediction as that can certainly happen and vice versa.

Yeah Spence looked in great shape Saturday but he also fought a little reckless. He can’t afford to do that against Crawford IMO.

So devils advocate, don't you think Crawford can get a little reckless himself at times when he goes for the stoppage? Isn't that one of the reasons this fight is so intriguing? Both guys have that dog mentality and have no problem taking one to give one? For being as aggressive as both are, they actually don't get hit as much as people think though. They get hit flush but every fighter minus Mayweather gets hit flush and somehow that is seen as a bad thing lol.

He was clipped by a right hand about 10 seconds before the mouthpiece came out. He dipped his legs and then got caught with a couple of other shots because he was buzzed.

I agree he wasn’t badly hurt but against a bigger puncher he would be in serious trouble.

I think beating both Danny and Ugas after layoff is very impressive. He’s a throwback fighter and tests himself far more than Crawford who’s done sweet f all at WW.

I just feel Crawford will clip this older post crash Spence

I feel like Crawford has only been reckless when he’s fighting somebody a a few levels below him, when he’s been in there with genuine threats like Porter, Postol etc he’s remained very composed.

I fully expect Spence will be more composed with Crawford too though in fairness, he’ll definitely have far more respect for what’s coming back from Crawford compared to Ugas and he’s shown in the past he’s more than capable at boxing at a high level.

The one thing I’ve always noticed with Spence though is when he steps into range he is open to counters and I think that’s gonna be a massive advantage for Crawford. I get the feeling, Spence will realise he has to outfight/outwork Crawford to win rounds and I think that leads to him getting caught at some point.

I genuinely think this is the best Welterweight fight since Leonard vs Hearns. Both have several ways they can win and I just believe the styles will gel and ensure it’s an amazing fight to watch. Wherever this fight is in the world I’m going 100%.

He did have a weird reaction to one of the shots but he then just went back on the offensive. Could be something though. But we have seen Crawford buzzed far more than that a few times. They will have to be more careful in getting caught with those types of shots but eventually a fight is going to breakthrough. Spence has to get on the inside and get busy so there is no avoiding taking big shots for both fighters.

Even against Porter I thought Crawford got buzzed a time or two. One time only Ward caught it but Porter mentioned it in his podcast he knew he hurt Crawford a few times and his legs were a little shaky. Both fighters are aggressive so they just have to accept taking shots from the other.

Spence's uppercut broke Ugas face and Crawford's uppercut vs Porter was on point and did a lot of damage. Top level operators, I just hope the fight delivers a classic for us.
