davis turned down 5 million to fight on dazn against farmer. he usually makes 1 million per fight. they clearly aren't just going for money, if that was the case they would have jumped at that offer. opponent control and control of the promotion are far more important than bigger purses. its the same haymon playbook when haymon tricked wilder into turning down 100 million to make far less so he could retain control of wilder's fights and consequentially fill his own pbc pockets while his fighter made less

Forget about Crawford vs Spence if he signs with Mayweather. Mayweather will try and milk him in a bunch of easy fights like he did with Davis and not allow him to unify and/or fight the top ranked fighters. Stay away Crawford!Comment

Oh dear, not a well thought of statement to make I’m afraid.
why do people of prominent positions in sports or else say these things? It’s understandable if he has a personal desire to focus on helping young people who aspire to make something from either poverty or bad upbringing, but to attach divisional words is very foolish.
I know people will whine about this so here it is,
is it ok for Floyd to make that statement?
is it ok for somebody to say “I’m gonna focus on helping white Americans first”?
how does that sound to everyone? Don’t seem right to me and equally as divisional as Floyd’s statement.
I was a big fan of Floyd prior to the mcgregor fight and have only ever believed him to have equalled Marcianos record however, this kind of talk
especially in the wake of that poor person who got shot by a Grand Rapids copper is provocative to the WRONG type of individuals of all ethnic backgrounds.
take it down a notch Floyd, it ain’t all about you.Comment

I'd have no problem with the comment if it weren't for the double standard that exists in our culture todayComment
