Chief just made a thread about Jacobs Pirog stoppage which was more or less the same thing. It was clear Vargas was okay and could have continued once he started getting up, but in the moment he went down violently, head hit canvas, eyes rolled back.

just laying there with his arms up like guys that completely out of it sometimes do. I’m sure the could have continued, but the decision had already been made by the time that was clear. Just my two cents there.
