Blame it partially on Cole. He's a **** ref and showed it once again on a big fight. He made the gesture that he was going to step in and stop the action for that. You can literally see him come almost in between and then backs off for whatever the hell reason. Spence also thought he was about to call a stop so he lowered his hands. That part is Spence own mistake because he should never have until he officially hears the ref say, stop.

So what do we have? A clean headshot that Ugas got for free because of the situation and yeah, it rocked Spence but didn't drop him... Considering Spence had went neutral in his mind, he didn't expect a hard shot to come at him and he still took it and stayed up.

You reaching with this one. Ugas was a dog throughout the entire fight. His eye was swollen shut and was landing some hard shots on Spence regardless. His volume decreased as the fight wore on but I would attribute that to his eye and also the hard body shots that Spence was landing. Spence was digging in with his shots. This caused Ugas to go into more of a shell while throwing shots in spurts. Spence's power was the difference here. He was landing some heavy shots.
