That's basically apart of this plan. Keep it in the middle of the round, make Mayweather take the initiative while JMM makes him work. Make him expend the energy to get to him and tire him out.

It's no an entirely bad plan, seeing as how Floyd is coming off a long layoff. Few, if any, fighters have come back with as good a stamina as before, that rusty.

Floyd wont gas like wheeler BUT

this is one of the keys.... stand in the center of the ring and STAY THERE... floyd LOVES to backup and the reason the others lose to him is because they play into it, they go after him to get him to engage...

if i were marquez i would nail my foot to the center of the ring (not literally) floyd can't use his best weapon when he's coming forward nearly as well (his elbow )...

but in all honesty its not a BAD plan, just dont expect floyd to actually tire!

I don't think its arrogance ... I think they honestly put in the hard work. I haven't seen many fighter's who could change their fighting style on the spot during a fight. Floyd has that ability, and he does it very well. When you have that ability and work diligently at perfecting it - then studying tape of your opponent becomes a waste of time.

floyd won't gas. I'll say this one thing though... floyd does take breaks in th ring.

I'm thinking nacho is thinking that the reason why floyd will gas is because floyd does not throw a lot of punches anymore. its either potshot or flurry, then 1 min on defense and then another potshot or flurry.
So no one has thought of playing head games? Go on defense with the guy two or three rounds and then just go on offense the fourth? keep him guessing.

in this fight, both of them gotta be able to switch between offense and defense near simultaneously.

the wheeler fight was a terrible stoppage its on youtube....plus floyd has better stamina than wheeler probably as long as hes not drained....the best chance jmm has is to force mayweather to lead....

people gotta be a dimly lit bunch to believe that a trainer who's been in the game for decades is going to give away the strategy to one of the biggest fights in his fighters career.

this is just another tool to have pbf guessing til fight night.
