It does do something to his legacy it makes it way worse when Jones puts a hurting on that fool That's why he want none of Jones.

I f you look at Hopkins career he always takes a long time off between fights.

Ah you call the Calzaghe fight a schooling eh ? Let me guess a Calzaghe fan or a Hopkins hater, take your pick.

There is probably no point in explaining this to you as your are clearly blinded with either your love for Joe or your hate for Hopkins but the Hopkins - Calzaghe fight was a close competitive fight in which had Hopkins winning the the early rounds with his sneaky counters and lateral movement. As the fight progressed though, Calzaghe applyed more pressure and upped the pace of the fight and basically tired Hopkins out with pure workrate which allowed him to take the fight.

You can look at the fight that way which is a much more positive way to look at the fight or you can look at it the other way in which you can blame Hopkins for Calzaghe looking bad.

It's possible he will never fight again which i sad because i really loved when he proved the doubters wrong and gave Pavlik a boxing lesson. Adamek is going to Heavyweight now and Johnson-Dawson winner won't be ready to fight until possibly february, then he will have been inactive for sixteen months. He also seems less then eager to fight Jones so i don't really see that many match-ups left for him if he wants a fight soon.

Where did you hear that Hopkins wouldn't fight again until June 2010? He is in a game of tug of war with Shane Mosley trying to land a January 30th date on HBO the last time I heard.
