Personally this was before my time of truly following the sport, but I’ve been watching a lot of old fights lately, McClellan included & I read some articles & boxing forums about this bout & learned Parks pulled out on very short notice & retired to HIV (also heard he tried to con his way into still fighting McClellan without tell about positive test)
Had Parks career not been cut short and the fight went through, who would’ve won in your opinion?
I’d lean McClellan (seen more of his bouts & at a higher level compared to parks), but Parks seemed faster of the two with a good jab & some real power behind his punches
