This is how the face-off would look like, but a little more striking. Ryan Garcia is 5′ 10″ tall, Isaac Cruz is 5′ 4″ . Ryan maybe biting off more than he can chew, we know that his most impressive KO's have come against stationary come-forward opponents, and that is Isaac Cruz style.







However, too much uncontrolled relentless pressure has exposed Garcia in the past, as was the case vs. Carlos Morales.

Garcia has the potential to wipe out everyone at 135 and under. He has the star power to land meaningful fights. His head isn't in the sport. I could understand being selective if he moves up after (147,154) but to be this irrelevant at your best weight.. mannn.. sad!

What potential are you talking about? His defense is the worst I’ve seen from any top prospect in years. Hell maybe ever. He walks straight in chin up behind no jab. He went to Reynoso specifically for his defense and in 4 fights with Eddie his defense never improved. The minute he faces a puncher he’s going to get slept.

Morales isn’t 5’4” though, but fair point. I just think Cruz would end up running into a left hook while trying to close the distance. Either that or he would March forward all night with a tight guard, looking for a home run shot but losing rounds in the process

Carlos Morales is not 5’4” indeed, but hes not as talented as Isaac Cruz or ranked in the top 10. Like Gervonta Davis proved against the much taller longer and heavier Mario Barrios that skills pay the bills. Ryan Garcia has the potential to time and hurt Issac Cruz, but Cruz is a work-horse with a durable chin and pretty good defense. Ryan is mentally-weak, and has came apart, seemingly hopeless against strong willed Carlos Morales -- I think Cruz is much more able and determined.

Golden boy messed up any fights with PBC when they wouldn't let Mungia come fight in showtime. So you know PBC will not let Cruz go over to Dazn and fight....

GBP is becoming the new Top Rank. Their top fighters call everyone out but they are always fighting an obscure contender. They become stars without really fighting anyone noteworthy. Munguia is another example that he has had opportunity to secure a big name or challenge for the title but he simply won't.

PBC didn't allow Cruz to accept an offer to face Ryan well before that. Same with Mall turning down both offers for Canelo and Andrade,Wilder and Ortiz both turning down Joshua etc...so

Does Ryan have any real friends? He seems very annoying and unstable. I imagine the people around him are only there to be around the celebrity and all it brings
