Comments Thread For: Angel Ayala Decisions Cristofer Rosales in WBC Flyweight Eliminator

Angel Ayala's lack of experience in the distance for championship caliber fights showed in this WBC eliminator. In round nine, Cristofer Rosales probably had his best round -- of course the headbutt also factored. The point taken from Cristofer by the ref in the ninth round for the accidental head clash was unjust But, Angel recovered well and went on to beat Rosales convincingly.

As far as Angel Ayala's chances at winning the WBC flyweight championship, forget about it. I doubt he he beats Julio Cesar Martinez, but it seems that this match-up would do good numbers in Mexico.
