Comments Thread For: Shane Mosley Jr. Defeats Gabriel Rosado By Majority Decision

SAN ANTONIO - Gabriel Rosado and Shane Mosley Jr. failed to deliver on their promise of in-ring violence. In a bout where both fighters desperately needed to win, it was Mosley who ultimately prevailed over Philadelphia's Rosado by majority decision in a tepid ten-round super middleweight affair. Judge Angel Mendez (95-95) had the bout even, overruled by judges Tom Carusone (98-92) and Ruben Carrion (97-93) who had Mosley winning the co-feature bout Saturday evening at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Honestly surprised. Didn’t plan on watching this one but I fully expected Jr to get beat up.

I didn’t even know the fight was on the undercard until a couple of days ago. Wasn’t enough to set my alarm at 4am to watch in the UK though.

But like you, I expected Rosado to maul him and stop him in the second half of the fight

Shameful that one judge had it even.

Wasn't the only bogus card on the Golden Boy bill tonight. Those two judges that gave Fujioka 0 rounds were horrible too.
